SIAL China, the annual trade event for the Food & Beverage & Hospitality, returns for its 10th anniversary with a stronger line-up of products and news. It is the biggest international event of its kind in China, and the only one who has been awarded as "Shanghai International Exhibition Top Brand" by the Shanghai Convention and Exhibition Industry Association.

SIAL China provides opportunities for both domestic and international enterprises to enlarge their market and enhance their international visibility, to create new networking contacts and to learn about latest trends. The 11th edition of SIAL China will take place in Shanghai New International Expo Centre, from May 19th to May 21st, 2010.

    SIAL China 2009 reported a new record of 28 528 visitors who came to learn about the latest news and meet new contacts at the Asian Food Marketplace (an increase of 3% compared to 2008). 13% (3709 visitors) of the visitors came from outside of China, mainly from Korea, Japan, Australia, and south-east of Asia. 49% of the visitors came from the Shanghai area and 38% came from the rest of China.
